Delete Your Account

Storm Studios AB is the developer and data controller of Tala, an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) app. This page explains how to permanently delete your Tala account and the data associated with it.

Delete from within the app (recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the Tala app:

  1. Open Tala and tap the gear icon in the top-right to open Parent Mode.
  2. Enter your Parent Mode PIN.
  3. Go to Security.
  4. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

This removes your account and associated server-side data right away, with any residual copies in routine backups permanently purged within 30 days.

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us. Send a message from the email address associated with your account to:

privacy@talaaac.com

Please include the email address you used to sign in so we can locate and verify your account. We will process your request and permanently delete your data within 30 days.

All account data described above is permanently deleted within 30 days of your request, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
